Grocery Smarts Classes

We are so excited!!  These past few months have been chalk full of Grocery Smarts coupon classes.  Mostly in part to everyone's curiosity with Extreme Couponing, but if we can teach you the skills it takes to be a smart shopper, then we are all for it!  BIG NEWS!!!  Grocery Smarts is expanding to Orange County!!  We will be in the O.C. on June 16th to do a major presentation and get the ball rolling to major savings in that area!  If you know anyone in the area who would love to host a free coupon class, or who you know is crazy for coupons and would like to become an instructor, please, please, pretty please send us their information!  We have a very short time to be down there and want to make the most of it.

April Hostess Special

In The View

Not 'That' View... Those of you who get the weekly neighborhood paper will find a very nice article about a few local couponers/bloggers... including yours truly.  It is actually a really nice arcticle considering I felt like I blabbed like a fool for almost an hour to this poor gal who didn't really know much about couponing.  I ended up giving her a quick 'mini class' over the phone.  That was super fun, but I was so nervous about what would be put in print!

Ok everyone!!  I only have 22 days left before this new baby joins our family!  If you have ever thought about hosting a class, now's the time to do it!!  I have a few openings between now and 20th.

Changing of the Guards

If you have been around the Grocery Smarts world for a while now, no doubt you know or have read posts from Colette, author of the Shop Smart in Vegas blog. Did you know that she has been serving as the Manager of Grocery Smarts for Southern Nevada for the past year and a half? Did you know that without her expertise and ingenious ways, we would not be enjoying the benefits of this amazing company? She was the driving force that brought GS to our area, and we all owe her more than she will ever know!

Please take a moment, go to her blog, and leave a comment letting her know how much you appreciate all she has done and how much she will be missed!

As we all know, life happens and our circumstances change - hopefully for the better. It seems to have happened like that for both me and Colette. As she prepares her family for their next phase in life, I have been blessed with the opportunity to step in her shoes. They are big shoes to fill I am very well aware, but I am thrilled for this new opportunity. This new position means a great deal to me and my family, and while I feel quite a bit less "with it" than Colette, I am learning a ton from her and am excited to take the ball and run with it!

One new thing that is coming down the pipe is a new hostess incentive program!! By hosting a class, you can potentially make more than the original $20 gift card incentive. Back to School, Back to Savings!

As you can probably see, I haven't been posting for a while. For that I apologize to my loyal readers, but don't apologize for my reason. We had a fun-filled last few weeks of summer & I took advantage of that precious time with my hubby and kiddos.

Well, school's back in, and things are settling down to "normal" (if that is at all possible). So, it's back to the grindstone and back to saving BIG TIME at the grocery store!!

Booking a Class

ExtraCare Bucks (ECBs) are back at CVS this week! Phew - that was a long wait. There aren't a ton of things that I am dying to scoop up, but I am excited to get things "rolling" again.

CVS is a little tricky to master, but once you do, you can save a bunch of money and sometimes even make a little in the process. Want to learn more? Book a class and have at least 12 new moms there.
