As They Grow

I love getting tips from my readers - how fun!!  I was sent this info and HAD to pass it along.  You know I love a good deal and especially with 5 kiddies I need all the help I can get in the clothes department.  A great place to get nice quality clothes at a great price is at a consignment sale.  AND... thanks to Lina at Mommy and Me West, here is the info on a consignment sale this weekend!!

Did you know.... the Kraft $5/5 coupon reset?  Pop on over and print a few while they're hot.
Did you know.... that there were 3, count them 3 inserts in the paper today!!?  WHOOO HOOOO!!!

Make sure you scooped them all up.  The General Mills one matches so nicely with the Albertsons ad this week!  I am so excited! It's like Christmas and Halloween all in one!

Yummy!

I thought I would post one of my FAVORITE recipes (and did I mention crock pot?). It's so easy and yummy. And it's case lot time at Smith's so most of these ingredients you can find for really inexpensive AND chicken is on sale too! Here you go and enjoy!!

Crockpot Chicken Chili
1-1.5 lbs. chicken tenders (cut into 3/4 inch pieces)
2 cans (15 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 C salsa
2 cans (15 oz) beans—black, kidney, chili (choose your favorites! mix and match)
1 envelope of Taco seasoning
1 C frozen corn
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, pressed or chopped (I use pre-chopped garlic)

Throw everything in a crockpot and set for 6-8 hours! Dinner is served! I like to top it with sour cream and some crumbled crackers.

Side note: you can throw other stuff in there (olives, jalepenos, green bell peppers). Make it your own! I also like to put in whole chicken tenderloins or breasts and when it's done cooking, I take the chicken out, shred it and put it back in. Enjoy!

FREE Cheese!

OK so I just did this deal today and apparently am behind! For many of you smart shoppers you probably already have a freezer full of free cheese and maybe for others it's news! Albertson's is currently having a promo that involves Kraft Cheese and when you buy 5, you'll get a $5 catalina toward your next shopping trip. Check out the current Albertson's list on Grocery Smarts for all the details.

The GREAT news is I came across this $5/5 participating Kraft cheese products coupon (thanks Hip2Save!) and so with the $5 catalina and this $5/5 coupon, Kraft cheese is FREE! Now...it's not any Kraft cheese; buy the Kraft Natural Cheese shredded (most all "flavors" are included). The shredded cheese works in the store promo and for the coupon. Print the coupon Here.
